Morayma is a captive in Granada, between the Sierra Nevada and the sea.
In the Albayzín, the ancient Moorish quarter of Granada and a UNESCO’s World Heritage Site, you will find a beautiful restaurant with a spectacular view on the Alhambra. Mirador de Morayma displays an expertly cooked variety of local cuisine, as well as a wide range of wines, including the ecological wine produced in Alquería de Morayma, our country holidays estate in the region of Alpujarras.

Mirador de Morayma is the best place to get your strength back after a promenade in the monumental city of Granada, since it is only ten minutes away by foot to the Alhambra, the Cathedral, and the centre of the city. It enjoys a privileged location, in the heart of the Albayzín and Sacromonte quarters of Granada, a city between the highest peaks of the Iberian Peninsula and the warmth of the Mediterranean coast.
The restaurant is located in a carmen, an urban house protected from the eyes of strangers by a garden and orchard. This is the traditional dwelling in the Albayzín, a country house in the middle of the city, with a smart and beautiful use of space. Its terraced gardens provide a variety of atmospheres, and several small dining halls welcome the privacy of our guests. Legend tells that this was the residence of Princess Morayma during the captivity of her husband Boabdil, the last King of Granada.

Our wide range of traditional Granadian cuisine includes remojón salad, salmorejo (cold tomato purée), omelette Morayma, crunchy asparagus, black sausage topped with sweet apple, sturgeon from Río Frío or codfish with almonds, among other specialties. Our menu includes seasonal and local produce, with a select wine list.
Mirador de Morayma is the perfect venue for a romantic dinner, a meeting with friends or a work meeting: in its dining halls and gardens, lunch or dinner may be enjoyed without any rush.
