Mirador de Morayma\u00a0features an exquisitely mastered variety of local cuisine, as well as a wide range of wines, including\u00a0our ecological wine produced\u00a0at Alquer\u00eda de Morayma, our country estate in the Alpujarra region.<\/p>\n

Only ten minutes away by foot\u00a0from the Alhambra, the cathedral, and the city\u00b4s centre, Mirador de Morayma provides the perfect setting to recover your energy after touring the monumental city of Granada.\u00a0Mirador de\u00a0Morayma\u00b4s\u00a0privileged location in the heart of\u00a0Granada\u00b4s Albayz\u00edn and Sacromonte quarters is rivalled only by the natural beauty found there between the highest peaks of the Iberian Peninsula and the warmth of the sunny Mediterranean coast.<\/p>\n

The restaurant is set in a carmen, an urban house protected from the eyes of strangers by a garden and an\u00a0orchard. This is a traditional dwelling in the Albayz\u00edn and\u00a0resembles a\u00a0country house\u00a0located\u00a0in the middle of the city, but with a\u00a0savvy and\u00a0brilliant use of space. Its terraced gardens provide a variety of atmospheres, and its\u00a0many small dining halls\u00a0afford our guests a\u00a0privacy to be savored. According to legend, this was the residence of Princess Morayma during the captivity of her husband Boabdil, the last King of Granada.<\/p>\n

\"\"Our wide range of traditional Granadian cuisine includes remoj\u00f3n salad (salt cod, oranges, black olives,\u00a0and scallions),\u00a0salmorejo (cold tomato soup with garlic, thickened with bread and emulsified with olive oil), omelette Morayma,\u00a0crisp asparagus spears, blood sausage\u00a0topped with sweet apple,\u00a0salad with smoked sturgeon from nearby\u00a0R\u00edo Fr\u00edo,\u00a0and codfish with almonds, among other specialties. Our menu includes seasonal and local produce, with a select wine list.<\/p>\n
